ALBARAKA BANK BRINGS JOY TO CHILDREN ACROSS THREE REGIONS THROUGH YEAR-END HANDOVERS

Albaraka Bank proudly continued its long-standing commitment to social responsibility and community upliftment through a series of heartfelt year-end handovers on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. Guided by core values of compassion and ethical responsibility, the initiative brought warmth, joy, and hope to hundreds of children across South Africa.

This year, the Bank allocated a budget of R60 000 to support three children’s homes:

·       Crescent Haven Children’s Home (Johannesburg)

·       SA Children’s Home (Cape Town)

·       William Clarke Children’s Home (KwaZulu-Natal)

Children from toddlers to teenagers were treated to warm meals and treats across all regions. Each child also received a specially curated hamper filled with clothing, stationery, educational toys, shoes, and other essential items. Volunteers added to the excitement by organising fun games where children could earn extra prizes, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

A particularly touching moment came when a young boy thanked the volunteers for spending time with them and providing such enjoyable meals. His heartfelt words served as a powerful reminder of the profound impact that small acts of kindness can have—reinforcing Albaraka Bank’s commitment to making meaningful differences in the lives of those it serves.
